Enzymes for use in Brewing & Potable Spirits

Brewing Enzymes
These enzymes are used in various stages of brewing. They can be used to modify wort viscosity, reduce calories, or remove chill haze.

ADJUZYME®
Standardized liquid saccharifying amylase derived from Aspergillus niger for production of fermentable sugar (used in the production of light beer).

CO-ADJUZYME®
Concentrated fungal saccharifying enzyme system to be used in conjunction with ADJUZYME® for more efficient production of fermentable sugars. Available as liquid.

ENZECO® CELLULASE CE-2
An enzyme preparation produced using a strain of Trichoderma longibrachiatum (aka T. reesei). Contains endo-1,3 (4)-beta-D-glucanase as its principal activity. Also contains other activities such as cellulase, hemicellulase, protease and glucoamylase. For malt extraction and malting. Available as liquid.

ENZECO® BETA GLUCANASE
Beta glucanase enzymes derived from T.longibrachiatum, (aka T.reesei). Available as liquid or powder. Also available derived from B. subtilis.

BREWER'S MYLASE®
Carbohydrases from Aspergillus sp. and Rhizopus oryzae used in the manufacture of light beer where inactivation during pasteurization is desired.

BREWER'S FERMEX
Carbohydrases from Aspergillus sp. and Rhizopus oryzae to increase fermentability of wort. Available as a powder.

ENZECO® CHILLPROOF
A stable, functional enzyme preparation, totally soluble in water, formulated for the brewing industry to prevent storage "chill haze". Produced from selected, purified grades of papain.

COOKERZYME®
Bacterial enzyme system derived from Bacillus subtilis for the rapid hydrolysis of starch adjuncts.

ENZECO® GLUCOAMYLASE
Used in the brewing industry to break down polysaccharides to dextrose. Enzeco® Glucoamylase gives maximum dextrose yield because of its high purity and its unique kinetic action pattern.

LIQUIPANOL®
A stable, functional liquid enzyme preparation, formulated especially for the brewing industry to prevent storage "chill haze". Produced from selected, purified grades of papain.

MASH-ZYME SERIES
Specially formulated balanced enzyme system for use where malt is partially replaced by barley or where poor malt quality is encountered.
